Step-by-step guide to install and activate the add-on inside NinjaTrader 8.

STEP 1
Install the add-on
- 1Save TraderPilotPro_v1.0.zip anywhere you like (Desktop, Downloads — your choice). DO NOT unzip it.
- 2Open NinjaTrader 8.
- 3In the top menu click: Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On…
- 4Browse and select the TraderPilotPro_v1.0.zip file.
- 5If a security warning shows up, click YES.
- 6Fully close NinjaTrader: File → Exit
- 7Reopen NinjaTrader.
The add-on is now installed.
STEP 2
Get your activation code (HWID)
- 1In NinjaTrader, open any chart.
- 2A TraderPilot Pro window saying “License not found” will open automatically.
- 3That window shows your ACTIVATION CODE (HWID). It is already copied to the clipboard.
- 4Send it to the administrator (WhatsApp, email, etc.). The code looks like: A3F2C8B1D4E9F0A2B3C4D5E6F7A8B9C0
With that code the administrator generates your personal license.
STEP 3
Activate the license
- 1Once the administrator sends you the traderpilotpro.lic file, pick one of the two options:
Option A — Easiest (no NT restart)
- 1.Download the .lic file anywhere (Downloads, Desktop — does not matter).
- 2.In the activation window, click the blue “Load license…” button.
- 3.Browse and select the traderpilotpro.lic file.
- 4.If everything is fine, you will see: ✓ Licensed! Welcome, [your name]
Done — no NinjaTrader restart needed.
Option B — Auto on restart
- 1.Save traderpilotpro.lic inside your Downloads folder or on the Desktop.
- 2.Close NinjaTrader (File → Exit) and open it again.
TraderPilot Pro detects the file and activates itself.
How do I know it's activated?
On the chart, in the bottom bar of the order panel, you will see in green:

Common issues
“HWID mismatch”
The .lic file was generated for another machine. The window shows your current HWID — send it to the administrator to issue a new license.
“License expired”
Your license ended. Contact the administrator to renew it and use the “Load license” button with the new file.
The .lic file was saved as “traderpilotpro.lic.txt”
No problem — the add-on picks it up anyway. Or use the “Load license” button to select it manually.
The activation window doesn't show up
Open a chart in NinjaTrader. If one is already open, close it and reopen it.
TraderPilot Pro — Licensed software. Personal use. The license is non-transferable and bound to this machine.
